There was also some repetitive information included, which disrupted the flow of the book more. Some sections made sense to not be in sequential order, but others not as much. ![]() Just like the other cinematic guide I read, this book is split into sections, but from what I remember from the movie, these were not necessarily done in sequential order, even within the same section of the book. The niffler and the bowtruckle are my favorites, both in appearance, and their sweet and funny personalities. I especially enjoyed looking and being reminded of the unique fantastical beasts that were included in the movie. Those pictures helped me to remember certain scenes from the movie and how much I enjoyed those scenes. My favorite part was looking at the photos throughout the book. However, there lacked some depth and the writing was so-so. I enjoyed the movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so flipping through this book reminded me of how much I did enjoy the movie. Just like my review for Harry Potter: Cinematic Guide, my feelings and thoughts about this book is very torn. ![]() Dan brown angels and demons book5/12/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Back at Commander Richter’s office, Vittoria retrieves Father Silvano’s journals, which is when a hidden screen pops up. This film has entertainment value for Kevin Spacey fans. The cinematography and the production design were adequate. The acting ranged from good (Kevin Spacey) to mediocre to fairly poor. The film was cluttered with disjointed subplots, which included: a murder and subsequent trial, a romance, a character study of Williams, a parade of strange characters largely irrelevant to other subplots, a travelogue of a Southern city, and some voodoo thrown in. I really don't know what director Eastwood was trying to tell us here. With the film's intriguing title, maybe I was expecting too much.
